About Us

After many years supplying high pressure systems, in 2006 L&W Diving Products launched Paramina Paintball to specialise in the development of systems specifically designed to meet the requirements of the paintball industry. Months of prior planning and consultation with UK paintball sites and players, enabled us to develop and hone our existing range of compressors and compressed air systems, ensuring they met the needs of their new market.

April 2006 saw the manufacture of our flagship and innovative “PowerStation 440” trailer system. The first system of its type supplied to a UK customer, this easily towable unit delivers 440 litres of air per minute, and comprises two state of the art electric-start diesel compressors coupled to a four cylinder storage bank system, allowing an all-day supply of high pressure air for tournament players. This system can supply 81,600 litres of air at any one time and can generate a further 26,400 litres per hour!

We realised that not all of our customers require such a comprehensive system, and so developed a 100 litre per minute compressor system incorporating two storage cylinders in a lightweight trailer. Using the ever reliable diesel engine and we were the first manufacturer to use one on such a small compressor. Either this diesel powered machine or the lower cost petrol option offers an unbeatable combination for the smaller site operating on a budget.

At an early stage, company policy was set that no compromise was to be made on quality. Key to success is the use of quality materials. Custom designed filling panels are all manufactured from robust and rust-free, marine quality stainless steel. These are designed to withstand the outdoor environment, and in ten years time, will still look just as good as on the day they were first installed. All pipework is marine grade stainless steel. Only gas tight stainless steel double ferrule fittings are used to ensure trouble free, low maintenance systems.

We continue to develop our own exclusive range of safety couplings and low volume hoses. High-pressure air is potentially dangerous. Our experience of the offshore diving industry has enabled us to develop our own safety coupling and safety hose. Until now, the prospect of a hose rupturing in the vicinity of a player was a potentially catastrophic incident. Our fittings not only reduce the incidence of improper connection to the guns, but also ensures that in the unlikely event of hose rupture, or connection failure, risk of injury to staff or players will be non-existant.

We also offer a specialist service to upgrade or replace existing systems, replacing or adding components as required, without the unnecessary expense of replacing still-serviceable components.
